While The Twilight Saga hunk Robert Pattinson has been rumoured to appear in Lionsgate's upcoming sequel to The Hunger Games, the British born actor has spoken out to deny the reports.
The actor, who stars in David Cronenberg's drama Cosmopolis told USA Today yesterday that the reports that he is up for the role of Finnick Odair in the sequel are false "I woke up this morning and saw all these things about me being cast in The Hunger Games, I was kind of curious for a second. So I called my agent. My agent was like, 'No'."
The actor also scuppered any possibility of him actually becoming attached to the Francis Lawrence directed film adding "My agent was like, no-one's going to offer you that part. I was like, thanks for the reassurance."
Cosmopolis opens in UK cinemas on June 15 and features the star studded cast of Samantha Morton, Jay Baruchel, Paul Giamatti, Kevin Durand, Juliette Binoche, Mathieu Amalric, Emily Hampshire and the gorgeous Sarah Gadon.
He also returns later this year for the epic finale The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 alongside Kristen Stewart.
