Katy Perry took to London's Leicester Square for the premiere of her documentary Part of Me

The Empire Cinema in London's Leicester Square was engulfed last night by the glitz and glamour that is Katy Perry! The phenomenal songstress was in town to celebrate the release of her documentary Katy Perry: Part of Me.

Presented by Paramount Pictures and directed by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz, Katy Perry: Part of Me chronicles the life of Katy Perry on and off the stage.

Perry who lent her voice to the smash hit big screen outing of The Smurfs was catapulted to stardom with "I Kissed a Girl' and has followed her success with hits including 'Firework', 'Teenage Dream' and"California Gurls' where she collaborated with Hip-Hop legend Snoop Dogg.

At the premiere she signed autographs, posed with fans and said "I can't wait to have more fans, I just wanted to catch it all, but I never thought it would be a big deal like this."
