Argo's Ben Affleck not approached to direct Justice League for Warner Bros.

It's not even been a day and already the report that Ben Affleck has been approached to helm the big screen adaptation of Warner Bros/DC Comics Justice League has been denied.

Deadline report that representatives of Affleck have quashed reports that he had been approached by Warner Bros to direct the ensemble superhero film, which is expected to feature Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Green Lantern and The Flash.

The Justice League is expected to go toe to toe with Marvel's sequel to Avengers Assemble in 2015 providing it goes into production soon.

As for Affleck, he starred as superhero Matt Murdock aka Daredevil in the 2003 film, he'll next be seen in his political drama Argo, which arrives in the UK in October.
