Avengers Assemble's Samuel L. Jackson joins Josh Brolin for Spike Lee's Oldboy

Ok so this is pretty cool! Not only will Hollywood legend Samuel L Jackson be seen in Jose Padilha's RoboCop and reprise his role of Nick Fury in the upcoming films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe he has also signed on to star in the upcoming remake of South Korean drama Oldboy.

The Los Angeles Times report that Jackson will feature in a key scene as a man tortured by Men in Black III's Josh Brolin in the American version of the cult film directed by filmmaking great Spike Lee.

After some back and forth, the remake will finally go before the cameras in New York City and Louisiana later this year.

As for Jackson he will return as Nick Fury in the currently filming Shane Black directed Iron Man 3, which recently had to halt production due to an injury that Robert Downey Jr. sustained.

Jackson will next be seen in Quentin Tarantino's spaghetti western Django Unchained which also stars Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz and Leonardo DiCaprio which comes to UK screens in January next year.
