The Dark Knight Rises babe Anne Hathaway would reprise her role of Catwoman for a solo outing

July 23 2012

With The Dark Knight Rises one of the most eagerly awaited films of the year finally in cinemas nationwide, Anna Hathaway who features as Selina Kyle aka Catwoman in the finale to Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy has said that she is interested in reprising her role for a future spin off.

Speaking to Digital Spy, the gorgeous Oscar nominated Les Misérables star admitted that she would embrace a solo Catwoman film if her Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan was involved in the project "I think it would be lovely to see more of her but only if it's with the right people, she lives in this Gotham City and so it would have to be established by the people who have made this Gotham City. For me, at least."

Speaking about her acclaimed director, Hathaway added "He's lovely! He trusts us all to do our homework and come in with ideas.

You have to come in by and large knowing what you're going to do but, if you get stuck, he'll give you the time to figure it out.

He'll ask you the perfect question that all of a sudden makes your brain explode and you see the scene in 10,000 new ways."

Hathaway will next be seen in the aforementioned  Les Misérables from director Tom Hooper alongside Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe which is set to hit UK screens on January 11 next year.
