Kodi Smit-McPhee

Date of Birth: June 13th 1996

Smit-McPhee has followed in the footsteps of his actor father, Andy McPhee, and actress sister Sianoa Smit-McPhee. He has had many roles in film and television, but is best known for his performance in the 2007 movie Romulus, My Father, acting beside Eric Bana. He won the 2007 AFI Best Young Actor Award for his role in the film. Kodi has also appeared in the Australian telemovie The King and the American television series Monarch Cove and Nightmares and Dreamscapes: From the Stories of Stephen King in the episode titled Umney's Last Case.

He appeared as the unnamed son of Viggo Mortensen's also unnamed character in the big screen adaptation of Cormac McCarthy's Pulitzer Prize winning The Road. Smit-McPhee was originally cast in the role of Young Logan in the X-Men movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, however he was unable to film because of his work with The Road.
