Our Rules and Guidelines:

01. Your website must be 100% done and have at least 400 visitors per day.

02. We accept websites with English versions only.

03. We require you to display our Advertisement Code on all pages at the top, including the gallery and the forum. If they use iframes, our Advertisement Code must be put inside the frame at the top of every single page. (You must use banner sizes (728 x 90 or 300 x 250) We sometimes accept other sizes but you must ask us first.

04. Never ask visitors to click on the Advertisement Code. This is against Google's Terms Of Service and will result in suspending their account.

05. Only celebrity related fansites are currently being accepted. Media only sites will be accepted on a case by case basis, depending on the popularity of your topic and your willingness to include a larger ad code.

06. Users are responsible for content displayed on their websites. It includes news, multimedia, pictures, etc. We do not bear any responsibility for their content.

07. All sites must be updated at least once a week and be of a high standard. If a fansite isn't updated for 60 days then it will result in suspension and later deletion of the account.

08. Media files are allowed as long as they are zipped.

09. If you need a break and decide to put your site on hiatus, you will need to leave the site open for people to browse while it is not being updated. Sites that are closed for a hiatus will be deleted after 1 week.

10. Users are not allowed to host any websites on their account without our prior permission.

11. No Spamming.

12. No Pornography.

13. Fansites are not allowed to display copyrighted materials unless they have rights to do so. If they display copyrighted materials, they do it on their own responsibility.

14. Every fansite is required to state they are 'Hosted by: TheFanCarpet' anywhere on their main page.

TheFanCarpet may revise these terms of use by updating this page at any time.
