Two psychotic criminals who've come over from the Czech Republic are determined to achieve fame from the sensation-hungry US media in this action-thriller. Superstar N.Y. Homicide Detective Eddie Flemming (Robert De Niro) allows a young, talented N.Y. Fire Dept. Arson Investigator, Jordy Warsaw (Edward Burns) to team up with him to track down a pair of Eastern European killers on a rampage through the city. Ferocious, unpredictable and clever, the immigrants quickly learn how to use the celebrity of their pursuers to spin their own stardom into an explosion of media and judicial madness. This tight action thriller, laced with dark humour and social commentary, is written and directed by John Herzfeld and produced by Herzfeld, David Blocker, and Industry Entertainment co-founders Keith Addis and Nick Wechsler.
