Fergus (David Morrissey) has come to London to find the woman of his dreams. He hasn't seen her for six years and, without a clue where to begin, he heads for the British Museum, knowing she loves the Elgin Marbles. Eddie (Mistry), a small time thief, botches a heist and escapes into the salsa club with the police in hot pursuit. Desperate, he starts dancing with a girl in a neck brace, and one thing leads to another.

Jocelyn's (McCormack) bizarre job has her tending cemetery plots for those who are away. Frankie (Ferguson) is a smooth, somewhat straightlaced shirt-and-tie kind of guy who, after ditching his date, winds up in the club and spots the sleek and elegant Eleanor (Williams). Her dismissive tone piques his interest all the more. Then there is Jimmy (Lester), the taxi driver, who watches as these various dramas run their course...
