"Breakfast of Champions," the dark comedy based on #1 best-selling author Kurt Vonnegut Jr.'s classic novel. "Breakfast of Champions" tells the story of Dwayne Hoover (Bruce Willis), the most important man in Midland City, who is on the verge of a mid-life crisis. As Dwayne's identity as the most respected business man in Midland City begins to unravel in his own mind, the town can't seem to get enough of his approval and advice as leader of a vast financial empire which controls the city. At the same time, a misunderstood, impoverished writer by the name of Kilgore Trout (Albert Finney) is making a cross-country odyssey to Midland City to be the central guest of honor at the town's first fine arts festival.

In search of answers to his crumbling world and in desperation to hear a new voice, Dwayne Hoover attends the festival. When Dwayne and Kilgore meet, their two world's collide, setting forth a ripple of events that will alter both men's lives, and Midland City will never be the same!
