SYNOPSIS

“From Russia With Love” is one of James Bond’s most thrilling adventures. It relates a masterful plot to kill and discredit the dashing British Agent, using a lively young Russian girl as bait for the trap. Believing that she is performing a patriotic duty, the girl offers her love to Bond in return for his guarantee of protection during their escape to the West together. To Bond, an added bonus is the valuable Russian cipher machine wanted by the British Secret Service to decode Russian messages which the girl offers to steal from her Embassy in Istanbul.

Unknown to Bond and the girl, their every move is followed by agents of the international crime syndicate known as SPECTRE, which has assigned a cold-blooded killer, Red Grant, to the job of trailing and killing Bond before he reaches England safely with the girl. After a series of dramatic gun battles in Istanbul and a game of cat-and-mouse aboard the Orient Express, the story reaches a spine-chilling climax in Venice, Italy, where Bond foils the final attempt upon his life.
