Randy, raucous and unexpectedly romantic, Sex Drive is in cinemas January 9, setting the standards for hilarious comedy of 2009 – and to celebrate we’ve got the driving thrill of a lifetime to offer you. Loveable underdog Ian is the last American virgin. At least that's how it feels to him now that he's 18, about to go to college, and losing girls to his 14-year-old brother. Ian's always been the nice guy, the best friend... never the boyfriend. But his luck finally seems to be changing when he meets Ms Tasty on the internet. She's everything he's ever wanted in a girlfriend—fun, sexy, and she really likes him. There's just one problem: she lives 500 miles away. Oh, and she thinks he's the Brad Pitt lookalike he's pretending to be on Facebook. At the urging of his best friend, Lance (Clark Duke) and 'borrowing' a Pontiac GTO Judge from his crazy elder brother Rex (James Marsden), Ian decides to confront his fear of rejection when Ms Tasty makes him the offer of a lifetime: "If you drive all the way for me, I'll go all the way for you."

"its not as great as superbad, but it is super good"
As I watched the credits roll I counted up the 109 minutes until I would be out of the cinema, not because I had anything to do, but anything was going to be better than yet another stupid preteen comedy that I've hardly heard of.... but I couldn't have been more surprised.
Josh Zuckerman plays Ian, a hapless virgin who spends his evenings seducing online prospects. His only comfortable interactions with girls are with Felicia (Amanda Crew), his longtime best friend; even when his lothario pal Lance (Clark Duke) sets him up with a sure thing, he can't seal the deal but when online hottie Ms. Tasty offers him the chance to meet up for a night of wild sex, he goes on a sex drive!
James Marsden is a surprise...Cyclops from X-Men... he pulls off a great punk-ass older brother with a sense of humor of his own. Seth Green just seems like he's cruising through the film. I think he's got a lot of talent and I knew even if the film was going to be bad, he would provide a good set of laughs.
OK, so I was expecting the worst but it turned out to be one of the funniest films I have seen in a long time. Sure, its a bit silly and had some crude humor but it ranks right up their among my favorite comedies, American Pie and Superbad.
