Director Rod Lurie boldly tackles a reimagining of Sam Peckinpah's Straw Dogs, the classic 1971 home-invasion thriller with this Screen Gems production. James Marsden stars as a writer who moves with his wife (Kate Bosworth) to a backwoods Southern town, where they are met with much resistance from the townsfolk. True Blood's Alexander Skarsgård, James Woods, Dominic Purcell and Willa Holland co-star.
