The Damned United is the story of football legend Brian Clough's ill-fated tenure as the manager of Leeds United is explored in this tell-all biopic. Having taken lowly Derby County all the way to the league championship, the brilliant but egotistical Clough is offered the chance to manage the club he despised, only to learn that the team as well as the fans want nothing to do with him. After a mere 44 days as Leeds manager, the club decides to terminate his contract. Sacked after less that two months but still branded the greatest English manager never to manage the England team. How did he do it?
