When real estate agent Jim Evers (Eddie Murphy) and his family get stranded in an old house with a variety of mysterious residents, both seen and unseen, it's a hilarious and hair- raising battle for home rule.
Aided only by the supernatural psychic Madame Leota and three hitchhiking ghosts, it's up to Jim and his wife and kids to weather fallinf floors, moving pictures, disappearing rooms and spectacularnspecters to break the the mansion's curse before the clock strikes 13.
