A lavish epic romance based on W. Somerset Maugham’s classic novel, The Painted Veil tells the story of a young woman who, dissatisfied with her marriage, attempts to break out of her stuffy life in 1920s London. She embarks on an affair which leads her on a journey of self-discovery to the Far East.
