Peter Cullen reprises his role as Optimus Prime 21 years after the animated Transformers: The Movie, there have been other voices for Optimus, but none as memorable as Cullen who by fan request returned as the Autobot leader.

Wow! this film is just wow, totally amazing, edge of your seat summer blockbuster at its very best!

Peter Cullen reprises his role as Optimus Prime 21 years after the animated Transformers: The Movie, there have been other voices for Optimus, but none as memorable as Cullen who by fan request returned as the Autobot leader.

The film opens to a voice over of the ever familiar Optimus Prime (Cullen), who briefs us on the history of the 'All Spark' (a cube that gives life) and the war between the Autobots and Decepticons and why they've come to Earth, which is simple really, the All Spark is here and so are the Decepticons, as the next scenes show the Decepticons attack the US Military base in Qatar, perpetrated by Blackout and Scorponok.

At the heart of the film is the story of a boy and his first car, but this car is 'more than meets the eye' as Sam (Shia LeBoeuf) Witwicky soon discovers after buying the Autobot, Bumblebee at a used car dealership, who, as it turns out is Sam's guardian.

As Bumblebee races to protect Sam and Mikaela (Megan Fox) from the Decepticon Barricade, he also contacts the other Autobots: Optimus Prime, Jazz, Iron Hide and Ratchet.

Watch out for the hilarious back yard scene where Sam tries to hide the five Autobots from his parents.

As the quest for the All Spark rages on, the Autobots battle with the Decepticons for the All Spark and the fate of planet Earth and mankind.

As many fans will know the Decepticons Megatron and Starscream hate each other, this is shown in the comics, cartoons etc. thats in the film also, infact all of the characteristics of the Autobots and Depticons are here, they may have been updated for the 21st century, but they have the heart of Generation One.

This film has it all, Action, humor and giant robots!

The visual effects are astonishing, with each robot having over 10,000 moving parts to which makes them not only photo real, but flawless in their transformations and movements, ILM have outdone themselves this is their greatest triumph to date!

Director Michael Bay and Executive Producer Steven Spielberg are a great team, and have succeeded in bringing this iconic toy line of the 80's to the big screen, this film is awesome from start to finish.

'Autobots transform and roll out' to the sequels.
