Three time Oscar winner Meryl Streep who was last seen as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady has expressed an interest in revisiting her Miranda Priestly character for a sequel to the Oscar nominated The Devil Wears Prada.
Talking to Access Hollywood, the actress who starred as the mean fashion magazine editor in the adaptation of Lauren Weisberger's 2003 bestselling book revealed "Yeah…no, no, is there one? I've never heard about it.
But, sure, I mean I'd have to lose the f**king weight, but I would do that, yeah."
It was reported earlier this month that Lauren Weisberger was working on a sequel to her novel entitled Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns which picks up eight years after Andrea 'Andy' Sachs quit her job as an assistant to Priestly to work as editor of a bridal publication.
Streep will next be seen with Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell in David Frankel's comedy Hope Springs which is due out in September.
