Brad Dourif returns for Curse of Chucky in September shoot

Just when you thought it was safe to look at dolls again comes word that a sixth entry in the hugely popular Child's Play horror franchise is set to begin production later this year.
Moviehole report that the sixth outing for the psychotic doll will be a direct-to-DVD release carrying the title Curse of Chucky and it wil begin filming this September, with Brad Dourif set to return to voice the homicidal doll.
Don Mancini has written Curse of Chucky and will also take to the director's chair for the film that marks the return to the darker roots of the series seen in the 1988 original, toning down the camp seen in its predecessors - Seed of Chucky and Bride of Chucky.
No other casting has been announced, but we can only assume that they will follow and for all you Jennifer Tilly fans, hopefully she'll make a return.
