Could Gwyneth Paltrow's Pepper Potts suit up as Rescue in Iron Man 3?

With Marvel unveiling Sir Ben Kingsley in the guise of the villainous Mandarin for Iron Man 3, filmmakers have hinted at the possibility of seeing Gwyneth Paltrow suit up in her own power suit in the future.

In The Invincible Iron Man story arc of the hugely popular comic book series, Potts has a suit specially designed for her, she went by the name of Rescue while she was in the power suit.

At the international Comic-Con in San Diego, Kevin Feige said "Everyone at this table thinks it would be the coolest thing in the world to see Pepper get in the suit at some point."

Jon Favreau who brought Iron Man to the big screen with the hit 2008 film and its 2010 sequel added "We almost did it a few times; we talked about it a lot. I think we all share your enthusiasm for that, and we all want to see Gwyneth kick a little ass."

Iron Man 3 is currently in production, under the direction of Shane Black and will feature Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Guy Pearce, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, William Sadler and Jon Favreau. It is not yet known if Paltrow will suit up as Rescue for the eagerly awaited threequel.
