Robin Williams joins Forest Whitaker for The Butler

Hollywood icon Robin Williams who is best known for the likes of Mrs. Doubtfire, Patch Adams, Insomnia and One Hour Photo has reportedly signed on to join Forest Whitaker in the Lee Daniels directed upcoming drama The Butler.
Vulture reports that Williams will play Dwight Eisenhower opposite Whitaker's Cecil Gaines, a butler who served eight American presidents over three decades.
The Butler is currently in pre-production and expected for release in 2013, while Williams recently secured the starring role in The Angriest Man in Brooklyn and is filming Arie Posin's Look of Love with Ed Harris and Annette Bening.
He will next be seen with Robert De Niro, Diane Keaton and Katherine Heigl in Justin Zackham's comedy The Big Wedding as Father Monaghan on November 9.
