James Marsden is JFK for Lee Daniels in The Vutker

Following the announcement that Hollywood legend Robin Williams has joined the cast of The Butler from Precious filmmaker Lee Daniels, comes word that James Marsden has signed on, stepping into the shoes of John F Kennedy.
The former US president was meant to be played by Magic Mike's Matthew McConaughey, but he pulled out of the project citing difficulties with the Boston accent.
The Butler tells the story of White House butler Eugene Allen who served eight American presidents over the course of three decades and will see Forest Whitaker take on the title role.
Chat show queen Oprah Winfrey is set to play his wife, while an all-star cast including Alan Rickman (Ronald Reagan), Jane Fonda (Nancy Reagan) will round out the cast.
Other high profile actors including Nicole Kidman, Liam Neeson, Alex Pettyfer, Zac Efron, John Cusack and Cuba Gooding Jr have also been attached to the project which starts shooting later this month in New Orleans.
