Mary Elizabeth Winstead set to cameo in A Good Day to Die Hard

August 8 2012

She was last seen in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and the prequel to John Carpenter's The Thing, and it would appear that Mary Elizabeth Winstead is set to return to the Die Hard franchise with a cameo in A Good Day to Die Hard.

Winstead previous starred as Lucy McClane in the 2007 entry in the franchise entitled Live Free or Die Hard aka Die Hard 4.0.

The report came from extra Ted Cross who revealed on his blog "I got to work with Bruce Willis again, which is always nice, the best, though, was that I got to work with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who plays Willis's daughter."

Director John Moore has promised that the fifth entry will not be lighthearted in tone and with filming underway, A Good Day to Die Hard will arrive in cinemas on February 14 next year.

As for Winstead, she'll next be seen in Stu Zicherman's comedy A.C.O.D. and Roman Coppola's comedy A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III. She has also joined the cast of indie comedy The Spectacular Now from filmmaker James Ponsoldt with Shailene Woodley.
