Kristen Stewart drops out of Nick Cassavetes' Cali?

Following her cheating scandal, it has emerged that Kristen Stewart has dropped out of Nick Cassavetes' gritty action thriller Cali.
Stewart was set to produce the feature alongside Voltage Productions and star alongside Magic Mike's Alex Pettyfer.
Gossip Cop report that Stewart has decided against appearing in the film, though it is unclear whether or not she will still work behind the camera.
Word is that Amber Heard has been approached to step into the fray, however no official announcement has been made, Voltage Productions have said that an official statement will be made in the coming days.
Stewart returns to cinemas in the October 12 release of Walter Salles' On the Road alongside Sam Riley, Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst, Tom Sturridge, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams, Alice Braga, Steve Buscemi and Terrence Howard.
