Marvel's Avengers reassemble in May 2015

With Joss Whedon back at the helm, and rumours circulating that Vin Diesel will appear as The Vision, it's safe to say that the anticipation is mounting, so much so that Walt Disney Studios announced yesterday that the untitled sequel to Avengers Assemble will arrive on May 1 2015!
The announcement rounds out the next five films in Marvel’s “Phase Two” slate: Iron Man 3 is set for May 3, 2013; Thor: The Dark World set for November 8, 2013; Captain America: The Winter Soldier for April 4, 2014; and Guardians of the Galaxy set for August 1, 2014.
According to a statement issued by Disney "The Walt Disney Studios has announced a release date for Marvel Studios' sequel to the biggest superhero blockbuster and third highest-grossing film of all time, Marvel's The Avengers.
Joss Whedon returns to write and direct the untitled Marvel's Avengers sequel, set for release on May 1, 2015."
Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Robert Downey Jr. are all expected to return to their respective roles.
