Christopher Mintz-Plasse talks tone of Kick-Ass 2

August 17 2012

He'll next be heard as Alvin in the star studded voice cast of Chris Butler and Sam Fell's ParaNorman in September, and while he returns to the big screen for Pitch Perfect in October, Christopher Mintz-Plasse has dropped some hints about the tone of the eagerly anticipated Kick-Ass 2.

In an interview with Vulture, Mintz-Plasse who will forever be known as McLovin reprises his role of Red Mist for the Jeff Wadlow directed sequel and asked whether the film version would be as dark as the Kick-Ass 2 comic, which includes a gang rape sequence stating "I don't know if we'll do that scene, we'll see, it's kind of f**ked up. [My character] becomes known as Motherf**ker now, so he's got to f**k some mothers."

Kick-Ass 2 recently added Donald Faison, Morris Chestnut and Robert Emms to the cast that will see Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chloe Moretz reprise their roles from the 2010 original.
