Lawless star Shia LaBeouf pledges to keep it real

Shia LaBeouf is continuing his rejection of studio-produced films to fully submerge himself in independent productions. According to The Hollywood Reporter, LeBeouf’s sex scenes in his next film, Nymphomaniac, will be completely real.
Whilst this is a far cry from his character in Even Stevens, Nymphomaniacs won’t be the first time the twenty-six year old star sports his birthday suit. He recently appeared completely nude in a music video for the band Sigur Ros. Directed by Bombay Beach’s Alma Har’el, the video was an experiment in interpretation and culminated in an irresistible (?) marketing slogan: See Shia LaBeouf’s Penis.
Director Lars von Trier plans to produce two cuts of the film and one will be very explicit indeed. However, some images will be blurred to make sure it stays firmly in the realm of art films.
LaBeouf's next offering will be John Hillcoat's Lawless which arrives on UK screens on September 7, the film features Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska and The Dark Knight Rises villain Tom Hardy. He will also feature in Robert Redford's The Company You Keep which also stars Hollywood royalty Susan Sarandon and is awaiting a UK release date.
