Terry crews loved working with Chuck Norris in The Expendables 2

With The Expendables 2 out now Terry Crews who returns as Hale Caesar in the high octane sequel has revealed that he was in awe of working with action legend chuck Norris.

Talking to Flicks and Bits, former NFL player Crews said it was incredible to work with Norris revealing "Chuck Norris, he's a man that fought Bruce Lee in Way of the Dragon, this ain't a throwback to just '80s action, that's '70s action, we're talking way back - you can't throwback that far.

Chuck, he was so cool with everybody on the set. I mean, you realise that this man… the business is about longevity, you see so many people who are stars and whatever, and they just fall away for whatever reason.

The reason that Chuck Norris jokes work is because he's still here, he's still at it, he was amazing. I thought it was a great piece to bring him back."

The Expendables 2 is currently striking it big with audiences and Crews co-star Jason Statham has reiterated his desire for Dirty Harry legend Clint Eastwood to appear in the third instalment, telling Den of Geek "Clint Eastwood, for me would be great, I think he'd be top of my list. I don't know though, he might be a hard man to track down."

Crews has Scott Sanders's Aztec Warrior with Luis Guzmán in post production which is expected to be released next year.
