Solo outing for The Hulk is possible says Marvel's Kevin Feige

September 22 2012

It looks as though a solo outing for the green behemoth The Hulk is on the cards, however according to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige it won't arrive before the second assembly of The Avengers.

Speaking to MTV News Feige revealed "Do I think Hulk can carry a movie and be as entertaining as he was in Avengers? I do believe that, I do believe he absolutely could.

We certainly are not even going to attempt that until Avengers 2. So there's a lot of time to think about it."

With Marvel's increased focus on its cosmic properties, fans have speculated on the likelihood of an adaptation of Greg Pak's Planet Hulk storyline which did see an animated adaptation and it looks as though Feige is playing the same tune adding "I don't think there's a lot that we couldn't do someday, as the cinematic universe continues to grow and expand and get as big as the comic book universe, 'Planet Hulk' is a cool story, 'World War Hulk' is a cool story."

Avengers Assemble is out now on Blu-ray and DVD.
