First look of Evangeline Lilly's Tauriel in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

The first part of The Hobbit trilogy is just months away, and following the reveal of the brand new poster of Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins that was released on Hobbit Day comes the first look of Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel.

One Ring report that the image appears on a new collection of Hobbit toys that have been released in North America to tie in with the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Toymakers Bridge Direct have reportedly made action figures for Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), Gollum (Andy Serkis), Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) and Legolas Greenleaf (Orlando Bloom).

Tauriel doesn't feature in the original book and is a creation of Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh for the film series.

Featuring Ian McKellen, Benedict Cumberbatch, Elijah Wood,Luke Evans, Cate Blanchett, Hugo Weaving, Christopher Lee, Lee Pace, Billy Connolly, Ian Holm, James Nesbitt, Barry Humphries, Graham McTavish and Stephen Fry The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey comes to cinemas and IMAX on December 14.
