Bond girl Bérénice Marlohe wants to be the next Joker in Batman

November 1 2012

She can currently be seen as gorgeous Bond girl Sévérine in the critically acclaimed 23rd James Bond adventure Skyfall, and Bérénice Marlohe has expressed her interest in taking on the role of the Joker in the next incarnation of Batman.

Speaking to FHM the actress revealed that she has already practised the iconic role on camera, telling the magazine "I would love to be the Joker in the next Batman.
I've done a reel where I've played the Joker. The kind of roles I really enjoy most of all are given to men usually.

Like Gary Oldman in The Firm. He was so great in that, and that's the kind of character I like - a bit crazy and intense on screen.

I have always dreamed of being the bad guys in the movie. You know, the mafia chief. That would be my dream."

Speaking of her sexy onscreen persona in Sam Mendes's Skyfall, Marlohe added "She is mysterious: good, evil, adventurous. I had to give her a lot of substance and charisma, and the sexiness came from that."

She also revealed that her "favourite Bond Girl has to be Xenia Onatopp from GoldenEye. The psychopath who kills people and orgasms when she kills them! This is what I want to see on screen when I see a movie."

Skyfall is out now and is currently riding high at the UK Box Office.
