Win BABYTEETH On DVD!

To celebrate the Home Entertainment release of Shannon Murphy’s BABYTEETH on December 7, The Fan Carpet are giving you the chance to win a copy of the film on DVD!

Picturehouse Entertainment is delighted to announce the Home Entertainment release of BABYTEETH, the vibrant and spirited drama starring Eliza Scanlan (Little Women, Sharp Objects) and Toby Wallace (Netflix’ The Society), directed by Shannon Murphy (Killing Eve). The film will release on DVD, BLU-RAY & DIGITAL on 7 December following its theatrical release in cinemas earlier this year.

When seriously ill teenager Milla Finlay (Eliza Scanlan) falls in love with free-spirit Moses (Toby Wallace), it’s her parents, Henry (Ben Mendelsohn) and Anna’s (Essie Davis), worst nightmare. But as Milla’s first brush with love brings her a new lust for life, things get messy and traditional morals go out the window. Milla shows everyone in her orbit—her parents, Moses, a sensitive music teacher, a budding child violinist, and a disarmingly honest pregnant neighbour—how to live like you have nothing to lose. What might have been a disaster for the Finlay family instead leads to letting go and finding grace in the glorious chaos of life.

BABYTEETH premiered to widespread acclaim in competition at the Venice Film Festival, 2019, where Wallace was awarded the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at the 2019 Venice Film Festival. This was followed by the BFI London Film Festival in 2019, where it competed in the First Feature Competition. Some of Australia’s finest screen talent, including Ben Mendelsohn (Animal Kingdom, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Essie Davis (True History of the Kelly Gang, The Babadook), shine in a film that has both the feverishness of first love and the visceral intensity of impending grief. Most recently, BABYTEETH has been nominated for 12 Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts (AACTA) awards, including Best Film, Best Direction (Shannon Murphy), Best Lead Actor (Toby Wallace), Best Lead Actress (Eliza Scanlen), Best Supporting Actor (Ben Mendelsohn), Best Supporting Actress (Essie Davis), Best Screenplay (Rita Kalnejais), Best Production Design (Sherree Philips), Best Original Score (Amanda Brown), Best Editing (Steve Evans), Best Sound (Sam Hayward, Angus Robertson, Rick Lisle, Nick Emond) and Best Cinematography (Andrew Commis).
