Aaron Johnson confirms Kick-Ass sequel participation and start date

We hoped it would happen, and now it's confirmed by the man himself. Aaron Johnson has officially signed on for the hotly anticipated sequel to superhero hit Kick-Ass.
What's more Johnson believes that his original co-stars will Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse will participate as well director Jeff Wadlow telling Collider "It's pretty much set to go, this fall. I think now Chloë and Chris are on board. I'm certainly set up to do it. Jeff Wadlow is to direct. Yeah, I think it's going to happen."
The sequel to Kick-Ass will be based on Mark Millar's comic book with his Hit-Girl spinoff set to kick the film off.
As for Johnson, he returns to cinemas in the September release of Oliver Stone's Savages with the gorgeous Blake Lively.
