Academy Award winner Mira Sorvino attends the ‘Save the Children Awards’ Press Conference

Academy Award winning American actress Mira Sorvino was in attendance with Nobel award winner Shirin Ebadi at the Press Conference to announce the winners of the 2010 'Save the Children Awards'.
Known for her performances in 'Mighty Aphrodite' in 1999 and 'Romy and Michele's High School Reunion' in 1997.
Now-a-days she mixes it up, with stints on telvision in popular series 'House' with Hugh Laurie and 'Will & Grace', as well as films including 'The Replacement Killers' in 1998 and more recently 'Reservation Road' in 2007 alongside Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo.
Mira will next be seen in 'Smitty' directed by David M. Evans and co starring Louis Gossett Jr. and will see her as the mother of a thirteen year old city brat who makes it tough for his mum by getting into untold mischief, the film is still in production, and has no UK release date as yet.
