Adventure Time to hit the big screen

Loveable boy Fin and his Canine brother from another mother, Jake, may be making their big screen debut.

The surreal cartoon series was created by Pendleton Ward back in 2010 and since has become something of a phenomenon. The show has become a proven hit not only loved kids but by adults with young hearts and by those who enjoy more chemically enhanced living (‘ahem’).

The show follows the duo as they embark on whacky and wonderful adventures through the land of Ooo. They can often be found defending their home land from a variety of villains and saving princesses from their clutches, most notably the Ice King who is on quite a forceful quest for love.

So with many loyal fans and a list of celebrities itching to voice the film Warner Brothers is looking to turn their antics into a movie. They have already hired The Lego Movie editor/animation-director Chris McKay and producer Roy Lee to oversee the project.
