Alexandra Daddario welcomed to the cast of Baywatch as Summer Quinn by Dwayne Johnson
Earlier this month, we reported that San Andreas siren Alexandra Daddario was amongst the Actresses shortlisted for the forthcoming Baywatch big screen adaptation, and now it has been confirmed by The Rock!
Taking to Instagram, Dwayne Johnson welcomed his San Andreas co-star and revealed that the gorgeous sought after talent would be playing Summer Quinn, a lifeguard originally played by Nicole Eggert on the TV series.
Sharing a photo of himself and Daddario, he posted "IT'S OFFICIAL: Want to welcome the talented and gorgeous @alexannadaddario to the cast of #BAYWATCH for the role of 'Summer'. Alex is a one of kind woman (I know from experience) and can't wait for you guys to see her own the role.
The female roles of #BAYWATCH have become extremely hot properties around Hollywood and as promised, the quality women we'll cast are stepping into these roles to have fun and make them iconic for the world to enjoy.

Daddario will next be seen alongside Teresa Palmer in the adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’s The Choice on March 4.
