Ali G funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen to be a gambler in Django Unchained

Ali G star Sacha Baron Cohen has reportedly enter negotiations to join the ever eclectic cast of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.
In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, Baron Cohen is up for the role of a gambler who is described as minor but showy, who fits into the story as the man who buys Django's (Jamie Foxx) enslaved wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington).
Baron Cohen is set to join a stellar cast that has Kurt Russell, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Samuel L Jackson alongside the villainous Leonardo DiCaprio and the bounty hunter Christoph Waltz.
Best known for his comedy creations including the aforementioned Ali G and Borat, Baron Cohen has racked up a few supporting roles in the likes of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and the Madagascar series and will next show up in Martin Scorsese's Hugo on December 2.
He is also set to star in Larry Charles' The Dictator with Anna Faris when it comes to cinemas next year on May 18.
