Altitude And Film4 Unveil The Trailer For Julia Ducournau’s Cannes Competition Thriller TITANE To Mark Its UK & Ireland Release

21 June 2021

FIRST TRAILER RELEASED FOR CANNES COMPETITION THRILLER

Altitude and Film4 have secured writer and director Julia Ducournau’s eagerly awaited Cannes Film Festival bound thriller, TITANE for the UK and Ireland.

Following a series of unexplained crimes, a father is reunited with the son who disappeared ten years ago.

Titane: A metal highly resistant to heat and corrosion, with high tensile strength alloys, often used in medical prostheses due to its pronounced biocompatibility.

TITANE stars Agathe Rousselle, Cannes Best Actor-winner Vincent Lindon (THE MEASURE OF A MAN), Laïs Salameh and reunites Ducournau with RAW star Garance Marillier.

Ducournau’s follow-up to her 2016 break-out horror hit RAW, winner of the FIPRESCI prize, will play In Competition at the Cannes Film Festival in July.

TITANE is produced by Jean-Christophe Reymond for Kazak Productions, edited by Jean-Christophe Bouzy (RAW), cinematography by Reuben Impens (BEAUTIFUL BOY) and features an original score from composer Jim Williams (BEAST).

Film4 and Altitude have co-acquired the film and will collaborate on the theatrical release later this year.  Film4 will retain customary broadcast and on-demand rights in the UK and Ireland.

Wild Bunch International are handling international sales.
