Altitude Media Group Unveil The First Look Of The Russell Crowe’s Road Rage Thriller UNHINGED Heading To Cinemas On July 17

22 June 2020

As cinemas reopen across the UK and Ireland this Summer, Altitude will release Academy and BAFTA Award-winner Russell Crowe’s highly anticipated new thriller UNHINGED from Solstice Studios on the big screen from 17 July.

UNHINGED takes an ordinary, everyday incident to its most terrifying conclusion in telling the story of a mother (Caren Pistorious SLOW WEST) who leans on her horn at the wrong time, to the wrong guy (Crowe).  ‘Road rage’ doesn't begin to describe what he's about to do to her and everyone she knows.

Directed by Derrick Borte (AMERICAN DREAMER) UNHINGED is written by Carl Ellsworth (RED EYE, DISTURBIA) and produced by Lisa Ellzey (WARRIOR, KINGDOM OF HEAVEN).

Altitude’s release will follow Solstice Studios’ high-profile release in US cinemas on 10 July.  The psychological thriller marks Solstice’s first feature film.

“Altitude are excited to be working with our exhibition partners as they reopen UK and Irish cinemas this Summer with the releases of UNHINGED and BLACK WATER: ABYSS this July,” said Altitude.

We’re confident that cinemas will observe appropriate government guidance to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for audiences and staff and we look forward to auditoriums welcoming enthusiastic filmgoers to re-engage the big screen experience.”

Altitude have a habit of backing losers, Calm With Horses, took $47,000. The Girl With All the Gifts lost millions. How is this company still in business?
