Through a series of misunderstandings, Alvin, Simon and Theodore come to believe that Dave is going to propose to his new girlfriend in New York City… and dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother.

One of our favourite moments has to be from the latest instalment of the franchise, Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Road Chip, when Alvin and the Chipmunks crash the Chipette’s judging panel at American Idol and tell a contestant, who hasn’t quite got what it takes, that they have made it to Hollywood. Oh, Allvvviinnn!

When Dave first discovers that the cute little chipmunks can sing and dance in the very first film of the franchise. This is a top moment and a pivotal one – it’s when Dave invites the Chipmunks in to live with him one the condition that they will sing all of his songs… and not invite all their other furry friends in to the house!

We all have those friends that like to embarrass us when we are trying to impress someone, and in the first instalment of the movies, our cheeky little chipmunks are no different. In this clip we see our little trio getting Dave in all sorts of trouble on his “date” with one of his neighbours.

Another top moment has to be when the Chipmunks first set their eyes upon the glamorous, sassy Chipettes in Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel.

The Chipmunks first journey on a airplane where, Alvin gets up to a bit of mischief.. No surprise there! Needless to say it’s no surprise after the mischief they get up to that they end up as Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked.

Laslty, one of our favourites from the new Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Road Chip, when the ‘Munks had their own rendition of everyone’s favourite Uptown Funk song in the street on the way to Miami.. Did someone say PARTY?!
