Amazon Prime Video Releases New Chocu-Mentary Following Career Of Sexual Chocolate’s Infamous Front Man Randy Watson

Sexual Chocolate: Beneath the Wrapper features exclusive testimonies from Nile Rodgers, Kelis, Shaggy, Trevor Nelson, Stefflon Don, En Vogue and Davido

Amazon Prime Video will lift the lid of one of music’s most magnetic frontmen in Sexual Chocolate: Beneath the Wrapper. The ‘chocu-mentary’ will launch exclusively on Prime Video in the UK this weekend, and explores the vibrant career and enduring appeal of Sexual Chocolate’s iconic lead, Randy Watson, celebrating his musical revolution and his impact on popular culture.

With contributions from everyone whose life Watson has touched – including Nile Rodgers, Kelis, Trevor Nelson, En Vogue, ShaggyStefflon Don and Davido – viewers will learn about Randy Watson’s far-reaching influence on modern music, told through personal experiences and anecdotes of the man, the musician and the friend, along with theories about his disappearance and where he went for over 30 years.



Sexual Chocolate first exploded onto the global stage in the 1988 film Coming to America. The documentary will give fans exclusive access to the band ahead of their one-night-only comeback concert in Coming 2 America, which launches on Prime Video on 5th March, in the UK and in over 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Sexual Chocolate: Beneath the Wrapper will be available to watch on Prime Video UK’s YouTube channel from Saturday 6th March, shortly followed by an official launch on Prime Video in the UK.
