American Pie actor attacked by a monkey

Jason Biggs was shocked when a wild monkey attacked him during a sightseeing trip in Gibraltar.

The American Pie star and Eddie Kaye Thomas (who also starred in the smash hit comedy) were in the British colony when the monkey jumped out of the tree onto a startled Biggs.

A source said, "Jason and Eddie decided to go on the trip to celebrate the ten-year-anniversary of (American) Pie.

"They were hiking in the woods when this monkey suddenly leapt on Jason from a tree and tried to bite his face off.

"Jason's travelling companions managed to fend the beast off and Jason thankfully wasn't seriously hurt, just shaken up"

The attack startled him so much that the pair decided to cut their trip early.

Gibraltar authorities have ordered a cull on the monkeys because of their threat to tourists.
