Amy Landecker cast in mystery role in Scott Derrickson’s Marvel Cinematic Universe entry Doctor Strange

With Marvel’s eagerly awaited Doctor Strange currently filming, it has been reported that Transparent’s Amy Landecker has been cast in the Phase Three film!

The Wrap report that Landecker is the latest Actress to join the Scott Derrickson directed entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Set to hit Cinemas on October 28, Doctor Strange will see Cumberbatch in the title role of a top neurosurgeon who after a horrific car accident becomes Earth's protector against magical and mystical threats.

Landecker currently stars as Sarah Pfefferman​ in Amazon's award-winning Transparent, which is returning December 11, she also has Lorene Scafaria The Meddler ready for release and Robert Schwartzman’s MF and Jonathan Mostow’s Hunter’s Prayer in post production.
