Anne Hathaway joins Liz Hurley, Alexa Chung and other stars at Elton John’s Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball

It's that time of year again, it's summer,(apparently) there's Wimbledon and of course there's Elton John's Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball. This year marks the 13th annual ball and the stars, as usual were out in force.
Anne Hathaway was probably one of the biggest stars, in a gorgeous, if very unusual shift dress with a summery twist, red down the back and gaps in the body revealing her pale, tiny frame.
Liz Hurley was of course there, in her usual leopard print dress, but this time she ought Shane Warren with her on their first official red carpet outing.
Other stars included Alexa Chung, Matthew Morrison, and even George Michael performed, apparently singing a beautiful version of Don't Let The Son Go Down On Me. The Wham star tweeted;
"I'm singing tonight with Elton at his White Tie and Tiara fundraiser, auctioning tickets to the show at Covent Garden Opera House!"
Meanwhile Anne Hathaway can next be seen in the romantic drama One Day with Jim Sturgess which has the following synopsis:
"After one day together - July 15th, 1988, their college graduation - Emma Morley (Academy Award nominee Anne Hathaway) and Dexter Mayhew (Jim Sturgess of "Across the Universe") begin a friendship that will last a lifetime. She is a working-class girl of principle and ambition who dreams of making the world a better place. He is a wealthy charmer who dreams that the world will be his playground. For the next two decades, key moments of their relationship are experienced over several July 15ths in their lives. Together and apart, we see Dex and Em through their friendship and fights, hopes and missed opportunities, laughter and tears."
One Day is out in the UK on the 26th of August 2011.
