Ashton Kutcher let’s it all hang out

Aston Kutcher, most people would agree is one of the sexiest and most charming men on the planet. That's a given. What I wasn't expecting, at the press conference for No Strings Attached, his latest rom-com with Natalie Portman, was for him to be a great big soppy romantic, and pretty serious about love.

Instead of the cheeky, slightly mad jock type guy that we've seen in films like Dude Where's My Car and his show Punked, I came face to face with a very intelligent, well spoken, deep and meaningful guy, who is trying to keep his love life very private and personal. However, being a film about sex and love, the press were hungry for more details, and managed to get a few little insights into the world of Mr.Demi Moore.

When asked what tips he had for loving an older woman, he replied; "Great relationships come in all shapes and sizes, but my advice for any relationship is to keep working on it, especially when it's good, don't get lazy and take a break when things are going well."

But his most adorable comment came when he was asked about romance, referring to a scene in the film where Ashton's character gives Natalie Portman a bunch of carrots instead of flowers. When asked about his idea of romance he said: "Romance is personal and simple. It's an island right next to caring, and when you really care about someone, you know exactly whats right in terms of romance."

Kutcher spoke about the chemistry between him and Portman, to which he replied "Natalie could have sexual chemistry with a cup" he added that because liked Natalie so much, it really helped their chemistry. As long as he focused on if she was OK in the sex scenes, then he didn't feel nervous.

Ashton also admitted that he didn't mind being naked, saying: "I don't mind having it out. You are who you are. It's infinitely more awkward for a woman, the crew is mostly male, and mine just looks the same as everyone else's." We doubt that Ashton, but we wouldn't mind having a look..just to be sure!

No Strings Attached is a hilarious and touching rom-com that displays perfectly just how versatile Natalie Portman is. Look out for the tiny Portman trying to beat up Kutcher's character as these two really hit it off when it hits UK Cinemas on Febrary 25th.
