BALIBART ONLINE ART STORE to launch in the UK with Pop Up Shop in Old Street Station for the FESTIVE SEASON

Balibart is thrilled to announce that it will launch in the UK through a pop-up shop inside London’s Old Street Tube Station (Unit 18) on 8th December until Christmas Eve, 24th December 2015.

At the one off pop-up shop, Balibart will be showcasing 50 artist’s works from the 200 artists and illustrators that can be found on its website, including: prints, greeting cards, polaroids and art books with a special launch which will feature some of the artists signing artwork instore.

Starting in September 2014, Balibart represents a community of hundreds of talented illustrators from all over the world with their artists having created bespoke works for some of the most well-known brands and newspapers such as The New-York Times, The Washington Post, L’Oréal and Nike. Balibart collaborates with more than 200 illustrators from 18 countries and has showcased more than 1800 artworks since it launched.

All Balibart works are art prints edited on Fine Art or Canvas paper with all creations available as limited editions having been exclusively created for Balibart. The customer and Balibart together decide on a theme, an inspiration or a colour to create a custom series of art prints to suit all tastes. The art prints are exclusive creations, delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Balibart works hand-in-hand with a professional Parisian workshop that collaborates with prestigious museums and well-known galleries.

Founder Maxime Delmotte said: "We were tired of seeing the same Ikea poster at all our friends house. We truly believe we deserve better than a regular poster. Authentic and unique art should be affordable for everyone. That's why we created Balibart: to introduce art in your daily life. An art print today, an art book tomorrow, and soon a coloured cup of tea, an original pillow, a trendy iPhone case, all designed by our artists."
