Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice moves from Marvel’s Captain America date

Well I think we all saw this coming, it has been announced that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has moved off of the May 6 2016 release date to avoid the clash with Marvel's third Captain America outing.

In the US, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will now debut in 3D on March 25 2016, just over a month before it debuts in the UK on April 29.

The eagerly anticipated DC Comics property will unite Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck) on the big screen for the first time in a live action film.

The film will also feature Gal Gadot as the iconic DC Comics heroine Wonder Woman as well as Jesse Eisenberg as Superman's ach nemesis Lex Luthor with Jeremy Irons as Alfred and Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams and Diane Lane who reprise their roles from Zack Snyder's Man of Steel.
