Bill Murray says Ghostbusters 3 involvement is a possibility

It seems to be a never-ending saga, but fans of the Ghostbusters franchise can rejoice as the legendary Bill Murray has revealed here is some chance of him appearing in the long awaited third instalment.
Director Ivan Reitman and original writers and stars of the films Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd have been trying to get the band back together for some time now, with early reports claiming that Murray had rejected the proposed script, meanwhile sci-fi legend Sigourney Weaver had also said that she will not reprise her role of Dana Barrett if Murray isn't involved.
However, Murray seems to have warmed to the idea of reprising his role of Dr Peter Venkman, he was interviewed by WGNTV and when asked about the chances of him appearing in Ghostbusters 3, Murray simply said it is "a possibility".
While there is no definitive word yet on how far negotiations on Ghostbusters 3 have progressed, those few words from Murray bode well for the production.
Murray will next be seen in filmmaker Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom with the stellar cast of Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Owen Wilson, Jason Schwartzman, Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand on May 25.
