With Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 heading our way in a matter of months, it has been confirmed who BJ Novak will portray in the eagerly anticipated film.

Taking to Twitter, Webb confirmed that Novak, best known for The Office will portray the villainous Alistair Smythe.
