Bob Iger announces sequel to Frozen coming
Earlier this week it was reported that the future of Disney’s phenomenal hit Frozen was uncertain, however today it has been confirmed by the House of Mouse that a sequel has been officially green lit!
The sequel was announced today by Disney CEO Bob Iger during a shareholders meeting, where he also announced that co-directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will be involved in the sequel.
The loveable snowman Olaf will be voiced once again by the hilarious Josh Gad but no release date has ben set.
Frozen is set to make its debut on Broadway but before that, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf voiced by Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Jonathan Groff respectively return alongside Gad in the short film; Frozen Fever which debuts in front of Cinderella on March 27.
